Pirouettes project shows a continuous development of technique. Born out of a desire to capture my entire studio flat in a single image during the enforced Covid lockdown, which set into motion a permanent obsession with capturing different scenes in this way.

Simplifying the scene into its core elements of light, shadow and colour through precise and controlled camera movement, each image captures an entire 360-degree scene in its most primitive form. In doing so, each image is abstract, yet recognisable, allowing for deep introspection.
