The rippling shadows of the house and trees, eerily reflecting back at me on the River Crane, created a series of patterns that I wanted to capture in a single shot. The water's gentle movement in the wind led to the creation of circular abstract forms, resulting in a continuous rhythm of repeating shapes, images and colours.

About the artist

After studying promotional graphics and illustration at art college, Naomi Diamond went on to work in the publishing industry as a designer/art editor on a variety of consumer and trade magazines.

Naomi Diamond's art, usually abstract and often inspired by nature, uses various combinations of textures, colours, layers, printmaking techniques and photography. Aiming to create images that are stimulating and visually striking.
